Greetings everyone at home following the DNA climbers on Aconcagua. Sorry for the lack of information today, but I simply have not yet heard from Marshall directly via the radio. We did hear second hand (a member of the base camp staff heard Weynie on the radio with some porters) that the group did, indeed make a summit attempt today. We heard that some of the group turned around before the summit and returned to Camp 3/Coleria, but that some of the group was able to continue to the summit. Later we heard that all were headed back to Camp 3 with no problems. Sorry that the information is not more complete at this time, but be assured that I will update all of you as soon as I hear specifics.
